About Tipsy Yeti Restaurant & Bar
Authentic Nepali and American comfort cuisine paired with handcrafted cocktails and a lively bar scene. Perfect for dining, drinks, and celebrations!
Tipsy Yeti Restaurant & Bar is a restaurant in Berkeley, California. It is listed at 2512 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley, CA 94702, which places it among the local businesses of Berkeley that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under bar, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ10:30 pm. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is tipsyeti.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

We stopped by this Nepali restaurant for a late weekend lunch. The place was mostly empty, but it has a large dining area and dedicated parking in the back, which is convenient. We started with the tornado potato fries, which were crispy, flavorful, and probably my favorite item. The Indian-style chai was okay, while my friend wasnβt impressed with her latte. Unfortunately, the main food was quite disappointing. The steamed chicken momos were extremely oily, with a strong stale-oil smell, and the chutney wasnβt particularly impressive. We also tried pork sekuwa, which had a nice smoky, char-grilled flavor, but again, everything was excessively oily and seemed to have been cooked in old oil. My vegetarian friend had the chow mein and had the same complaintβit was very oily with that unpleasant stale-oil taste. Overall, we were disappointed, especially after seeing so many positive reviews. The food might have potential, but the quality of the oil completely overshadowed everything we tried and left a lingering unpleasant taste and smell. Definitely not the experience we were expecting.

βββββ We absolutely loved Tipsy Yeti Restaurant & Bar! Weβre visiting San Francisco and decided to stop in, and Iβm so glad we did. Everything we ordered was delicious! We had the pasta, burger and fries, pepperoni pizza, and drinks, and everything came out fresh and tasted amazing. The atmosphere is really cute and welcoming, and the service was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and attentive and made us feel right at home. It was one of those places where the whole experience..from the food to the drinks to the serviceβ¦was just great. Definitely recommend stopping by if youβre in San Francisco. We would absolutely come back! β€οΈππππΉ

Wow. This place. It was our first time trying this place out and it was incredible from start to finish! We were greeting by a very friendly, all smiles host. He really gave the initial feel of a friendly restaurant! We were seated and our waitress, a blonde young woman who was also very friendly and recommended I get lamb on my Himalayan Pizza and SHE WAS RIGHT BECAUSE IT WAS SO FREAKIN GOOD! The pizza had so much flavor, the spices, the taste!! It was FRESH and it was absolutely delicious! We also the got Tornado Fries and Chicken Chow Mein and both busting with flavor. I want to add that we also got the fried calamari- IVE NEVER HAD SUCH CRUNCHY CALAMARI IN MY LIFE it was so satisfying! I got a delicious mock tail and the mezcal drink that just knocked your socks off. If you want to try a place with fantastic and flavorful Nepal flavors, you have found your new favorite place! Thank to the friendly staff, really, your genuine smiles and constant attentiveness to your customers and delicious food has won our hearts!

What a lovely experience for a chill date night with my hubby. There was a live band lighting up the atmosphere with beautiful notes and jazzy vibes. The food was all delicious and perfectly prepared. The chicken momos were juicy, almost like soup dumplings. The tornado fries were flavorful, especially the sauces. The lamb was juicy and tender. The cocktail and mocktail were balanced in sweet, tart, savory and spirit (for the alcoholic drink). Our server was warm and friendly, providing us with on point food recommendations and even a nice movie recommendation. I can't wait to visit again on another date night or even with my kid (since they have such a broad menu).
